MANF Scholarship 2022 Selection Process
- Candidates need to appear and qualify in UGC NET or CSIR NET exam.
- Final selection will be done on the basis of the merit list of both the exams. Out of 1,000 fellowships available, 750 have been allocated for subjects under UGC NET and 250 for subjects related to science under CSIR NET.
MANF scheme 2022 Terms and Condition
- Under the MANF scheme 2022, the duration of the fellowship is two years in the initial period. And before the end of this period, the fellow’s research work is evaluated. If the work is found satisfactory, the tenure under MANF Senior Research Fellowship is extended for a further period of three years.
- In case of application of any fraudulent means in obtaining the fellowship, the MANF is automatically canceled and the disbursed amount is recovered along with interest.
- The awardee may not hold any type of employment such as an ad-hoc teacher, teaching assistant, or research assistant. This voids the fellowship.
- The recipient of the MANF award is liable to a maximum of 30 days of leave per year in addition to public holidays.
- Candidates are also eligible for one-time maternity and paternity leave as per Government of India rules.
- The bank account numbers of the beneficiaries are verified through PFMS to generate the beneficiary ID.
